The Galdana cove is well known for its outstanding beauty horseshoeshaped beach with white sand and cristal clear waters Nick-named the “Queen of the Calas” and situated on the south coast just 7 km from Ferreries, is Cala Galdana, one of the most beautiful pine clad bays in Menorca.
The name itself is a corruption of the Moorish Guad-al-Ana (The Barranco of St Anne) after whom a nearby farm is named , which is approximately 32km or 20 miles west of the capital Mahon and the Aeropuerto de Menorca international airport. And 24 km or 15 miles of Ciutadella city .
